what do your mornings look like?
we wake up, stretch and reach for our phones to divulge ourselves in texts, annoying emails from work, drama and humor on Instagram and Twitter and so on. but, how often do we navigate away from our norm and stop and say thank you?
this newsletter came to me one morning when I woke up sad, discouraged and unsure about the day. I was having too many mornings where my joy was suppressed by anxiety and stress and I knew I had to change the narrative for myself before I became enthralled in self deprecation. so – I forced myself to name five things I was grateful for and thought – if I can do this every day when I wake up, I can set the tone for my day, my month and my life. So why not bring my friends along on the journey with me?
adulting, at its core, is absolutely ghetto but there are moments of gratification that we can harp and build upon that remind us that the universe is working its magic within us every step of the way.

welcome to [wake up & give me 5]. this is a weekly newsletter dedicated to those of us that need that push to remember that gratitude is at the core of our essence and saying thank you welcomes tangible joy into our lives.
pass on the good word and tell your friends!
